100 W Digital Non-Isolated DC-DC Converters

Designed for cost and space-sensitive applications, the LGA50D series of non-isolated DC-DC converters offers dual outputs configurable as two independent 25 A, 50 W outputs or single 50 A, 100 W. You can parallel up to four units to generate a higher current-rated rail up to 200 A. The input voltage range is rated at 7.5 to 14 VDC and output 0.6 to 5.2 VDC adjustable via PMBus or external resistor with maximum efficiency of 95.5%. With a footprint of 1 x 0.5 inches (25.4 x 12.5 mm), the LGA50D is available in three form factors, including a low-profile version. The series withstands reflow oven temperatures for surface-mount application via block-pin or LGA terminations and is available in tape-and-reel packaging.

LGA50D Evaluation Kit

Advanced Energy’s LGA50D evaluation kit gives you the ability to connect the demonstration board to a USB socket on a PC, with the PMbus interface, dongle and cable provided in the kit and control and monitor the LGA50D units as they would be used in an application.
