U.S. Navy Has Selected TEGAM Model R1L-E2A for Aircraft and Ship Maintenance

GENEVA, Ohio–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Advanced Energy's TEGAM, Inc., a leading supplier of test and measurement equipment, is proud to announce that the U.S. Navy has selected the TEGAM Model R1L-E2A Intrinsically Safe Portable Micro-ohmmeter and Bond Meter to fulfill aircraft and ship maintenance requirement of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps. Defense-rated orders totaling over $900,000 have been awarded and will be delivered in full before the end of CY16.

The R1L-E2A, which is also specified for support of the Lockheed F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program, is accurate, reliable, and safe for use in Class 1 Zone 0, Group IIA and Class 1 Division 1, Group D hazardous environments. TEGAM is proud to support the U.S. defense efforts with the UL/ATEX certified RIL-E2A, which is also commercially available from TEGAM for the most rugged bond testing applications. This makes the TEGAM R1L-E2A useful in applications not possible with other ground bond meters and micro-ohmmeters.
