Jarom Huff joins SL Power as Chief Financial Officer

Under the SteelGrow Talent Management Program, our goal is to RECRUIT, RETAIN and REWARD high potential people, grow their responsibilities, and promote from within whenever possible. I am pleased to announce the following SL Power Electronics new management member.

Jarom Huff joins effective March 29, 2021, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and reporting to me. Jarom will be responsible for the planning, implementation, managing and running of all finance and fiscal activities of the company, including business planning, budgeting, reporting, forecasting and information technology (IT). As a key member of my management team, Jarom will focus on:

• Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance, accounting and IT team.
• Managing the financial forecasting, budgets, and the preparations of all financial reporting.
• Advising on long-term business and financial planning.
• Planning and executing all financial affairs, investments, and capital.
• Adhering to all global financial regulations by ensuring all legal and regulatory documents are filed,while monitoring compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Assisting in executing productivity measures across the business to sustain competitiveness.
• Building and leading a merger & acquisition funnel for inorganic growth opportunities.
• Managing and overseeing the relationship with independent auditors.
• Overseeing financial & IT systems implementations, upgrades and process improvements.
• Working with the extended leadership team to develop the strategic plan.

Jarom joins us with nearly 20 years expertise in global finance across multiple sectors. Most recently he was the CFO for Channell Commercial Corporation and prior to that the CFO of JPS Composite Materials; A Steel Partners Company. Jarom spent ten years with Advanced Energy Industries where he held various roles with increasing responsibilities, including a leadership role in Asia.

Jarom holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Brigham Young University.
