SL Power Publishes All New LU225 Application Notes

Posted October 23, 2019

SL Power Electronics is excited to announce the publication of three all new Application Notes dedicated to the recently released LU225 Product Family.

The LU224 Application Note Trilogy provides an in-depth analysis of the 24-Volt, 48-Volt and 56-Volt output model variants of the revolutionary LU225, which was the first open frame power supply on the market to feature UL8750 safety approval.

These documents consist of rich testing data, delivering valuable insight into efficiency, AC inrush current, turn-on delay time, output turn-on rise time, max load, hold-up time, hiccup mode, short-circuit protection, common-mode noise, conducted emissions, reliability, robustness, and more. This enables readers to visually interpret the data in a holistic way.

ABOUT THE LU225

The LU225 boasts an ultra-high-density open-frame design that enables original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to reduce product size and deliver superior performance while, at the same time, offering reduced operating noise and a considerably higher degree of reliability. Standard features include a wide input range of 90 to 305Vac and a built-in EMI filter. The superior active inrush current limit capability (15A) minimizes the need for multiple circuit protection devices, resulting in lower installation and operating costs.
