Sridhar Subramaniam joins SL Power as Sr. Director of Strategic Sourcing

Under the SteelGrow Talent Management Program, our goal is to RECRUIT, RETAIN and REWARD high potential people, grow their responsibilities, and promote from within whenever possible. I am pleased to announce the following SL Power Electronics newly hired employee.

Sridhar Subramaniam joins SL Power effective December 2, 2020, as Sr. Director of Strategic Sourcing, Quality & OpEx and he will focus on:

• Driving material productivity to improve our product cost position in the market.
• Reducing our raw materials lead times, to improve our responsiveness & inventory turns.
• Developing our open innovation & direct suppliers’ quality & delivery systems.
• Enhancing our global quality management systems to achieve six-sigma levels.
• Continuing our maturity journey with the Steel Business System via Kaizen’s & Gemba’s.

Sridhar brings us 20+ years expertise in Supply Chain Management and Operations. Most recently he spent thirteen years working for Eaton Corporation in a variety of senior leadership roles focused on supply chain management, strategic sourcing, and risk management. Prior to Eaton, Sridhar spent nine years with Ernest & Young helping clients in the Automotive and Industrial sectors achieve results in supply chain management, SIOP and manufacturing productivity.
