TEGAM Establishes a Traceability Path for a 9 kHz to 18 GHz RF Standard
Posted August 02, 2016
Adam R. Fleder, President of TEGAM, spoke at the NCSL International Regional Meeting held on April 21, 2016 in the town of Pepperell, MA.
As Tim Cooke from Cal-Tek reported in the Metrol’ogist® April 2016, “Adam detailed how TEGAM established a traceability path for a 9 kHz to 18 GHz RF standard (a range that is beyond the range of NIST’s calibration service) at 1 mw. The first need arose as customers have RF power sensors they wish to calibrate down to 9 kHz, yet NIST does not maintain a standard for RF power below 100 kHz.”
