3000 W Front End AC-DC Power Supplies
The HPS3000 series bulk front-end AC-DC power supply unit (PSU) accepts 90 to 264 VAC input and outputs a main 48 VDC and standby 5 VDC. The main output delivers up to 62 A in the 180 to 264 VAC input range. Rated at 3,000 W (from 200 VAC nominal input) and 90% full-load efficiency, the PSU features active current sharing for paralleling as many as four units in high-current applications. Ideal for feeding downstream DC-DC converters in distributed power architectures, the PSU is hot pluggable and supports constant current mode. The series is available in a 1U x 4.2-inch form factor, featuring power density of 40 W/inch3 and enabling four units on a standard 19-inch rack shelf to provide 12 kW.
