15 W (6 A) Non-Isolated DC-DC Converters

The PTH03050 series of non-isolated DC-DC converters offers some of the industry’s most advanced point-of-load (POL) functions, including Auto-Track™ (a Texas Instruments trademark) sequencing for controlled power-up/power-down of complex semiconductor devices such as DSPs, FPGAs, and ASICs. These 15 W converters offer up to 94% efficiency and are Point-of-load Alliance (POLA) compliant. Delivering 6 A and a trimmable output voltage (0.8 to 2.5 VDC) from an input of 2.95 to 3.65 VDC to meet your semiconductor power needs, the converters have an installed height of just 0.33 inch and a small footprint of 0.5 x 0.87 inch. Standard features include pre-bias startup, input undervoltage lockout, remote sense, remote on/off, and auto-resetting short-circuit protection. The parts are available in through-hole horizontal and surface-mount versions.
