Advanced Energy's portable bond meters are instrinsically safe, making them suitable to use in potentially explosive work areas. These bond meters also offer a long battery life: 80 hours of typical use on a full charge. Applications include metal bonding, switch, circuit breaker, circuit resistance, and other contact and connection resistance tests, as well as for higher-resistance measurements for circuit analysis and resistor testing up to 20Ω.
