922B Intrinsically Safe Thermocouple Thermometer

Active

Dual Input °C &°F (K, J , T, E, B, N, R & S)

The Model 922B intrinsically safe thermocouple thermometer is a dual-channel digital thermometer compatible with type K, J, T,E, N, R, S  and B thermocouple probes to provide a wide range of temperature measurements (-418 °F to 2502 °F), and is certified intrinsically safe for use in potentially hazardous environments. The 922B boasts a 2000 hour battery life using three AA batteries.  The 922B provides dependable and uninterrupted portable measurement capability without expensive batteries, AC adapters or chargers.

The creative ergonomic design makes these instruments easy to hold, easy to read and easy to clean.  Designed for one-handed operation, these tools are comfortable to carry and use for extended periods of time.  The heavy-duty case is specifically designed for durability and resistance to contaminants such as dust and chemicals. The smooth, sleek, seamless case means that cleaning is quick and certain.

Real-time statistical data increases user productivity, process efficiency and product quality. Displayed on-demand MIN, MAX, AVG, RNG and STDEV (standard deviation) provide critical process information and diagnostics that allow the user to analyze manufacturing processes on the fly and make immediate adjustments for maximum efficiency and quality.

Like all  Advanced Energy's TEGAM products, our intrinsically safe thermometers are designed, assembled and tested in the United States but are ATEX-compliant for European applications.  TEGAM backs this durable instrument with a standard 3 year warranty and a 2 year calibration guarantee to insure that your instrument is ready to use when you need it.

TEGAM intrinsically safe products such as our thermocouple thermometers are ideal for those measuring temperature in potentially hazardous environments such as: aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, chemical, textiles, mining and even some food processing.

Single Input Intrinsically Safe Thermocouple Thermometer is also available in our 921B model.

ISO 17025 Calibration Option, 900 Series Thermometers

ISO 17025 is an International Standard and grew out of ISO Guide 25. In 2002 ISO started assessing all calibration labs to 17025. It has been updated several times since then, cleaning ambiguities, strengthening traceability requirements and expanding its overall coverage of processes. The premise of ISO 17025 is that traceability and a fully developed uncertainty statement are required to establish confidence in the calibration. Traceability is required to SI Standards (international standards based on the new SI units of measure). ISO 17025 also requires a full total uncertainty statement for the laboratory to prove the accuracy of the calibration. Its procedures assess the training and competencies of the lab personnel and the calibration procedures. ISO 17025 also requires accreditation by an internationally recognized authority.
