Advanced Energy Focuses on Precision Power Solutions at 2022 OCP Global Summit

DENVER, Colo., September 27, 2022 — Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: AEIS) – a global leader in highly engineered, precision power conversion, measurement and control solutions – will be featuring its latest ultra-efficient power supplies and power shelf technologies for enterprise and hyperscale data centers at this year’s Open Compute Project (OCP) Global Summit, which takes place at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center October 18-20, 2022.
At booth B5, Advanced Energy will showcase its latest Artesyn® Open Rack version 3 (ORv3) compliant power shelves, power supplies in the CRPS (common redundant power supply) form factor, as well as high-density board-mounted power solutions.
“The OCP Global Summit is the largest gathering of technologists looking to apply the benefits of open source and open collaboration to hardware and software to increase the pace of innovation in, near and around the data center and beyond,” said Harry Soin, Advanced Energy’s senior director of technical marketing for hyperscale data centers. “It’s the perfect forum to showcase our latest data center solutions and to share the latest efficiency updates with data center architects and operators.”
Among the power technologies on the Advanced Energy booth will be an ORv3-compliant power shelf with hot swappable PSUs for 21” open rack systems that delivers efficiencies above 97% and the CRPS-compatible CSU1300ADC 1300W distributed power system with a peak efficiency of 94%. Board-mounted technologies will include the Artesyn LFA110D, a 110 A-rated DC-DC converter for the latest processor chips that operates with efficiencies up to 96% and provides a higher power conversion density than any DC-DC converters in its class.
In addition, on Thursday, Oct 20 at 9:40 AM PST at the San Jose Convention Center, Concourse Level 220B, Advanced Energy will be presenting an update on efficiency improvements and other developments in Orv3-compliant rack power technologies.
