Thomas Chen Joins SL Power as Medical Field Applications Engineer

On August 6, 2018, Mr. Thomas Chen joined the SL Power team, assuming the role of Field Applications Engineer for the Medical Market Segment (N.A. & Eastern Region). Thomas will be based in Raleigh, North Carolina and report directly to Lorenzo Cividino – SL Power’s Director of Global Applications & Support.

Thomas holds a BSEE and MSEE from Purdue University and an MBA from Duke University.  He has worked in the industrial electrical and electronics industry for ten years as a design engineer and project manager. Thomas has experience developing thermal products, contractors for motor starters, communications modules and backup power systems. Thomas’ experience with power distribution, new product development, testing, quality, supply management and sustaining engineers brings a well-rounded experience base to the FAE team.

Following SL Power’s Vision to be recognized as the preferred partner for power conversion solutions, Thomas will work closely with the Medical sales and PLM teams to continue to develop and cater to SL Power’s Medical Market Segment.
