250 W Industrial & Medical AC-DC Power Supply

The CPS250-M series of single output open-frame AC-DC power supplies are offered in 12 V, 24 V, or 48 V outputs with +10% Trim range. Each power supply comes with a 12 V fan output. All models feature ITE and medical safety approvals and accept a universal input of 90 to 264 VAC. Depending on operating conditions, its 2 inches x 4 inches x 1.29 inch compact and high density design delivers up to 155 W of output power with free air convection cooling and up to 250 W with 300 LFM of forced air. These power supplies are ideal for light industrial systems as well as for medical applications.

DescriptionArtesyn’s CPS250-M series open frame AC-DC power supplies offers one of the highest power densities in its class. Capable of delivering 250 W with forced-air cooling and 155 W with natural convection, the CPS250-M series follows the industry standard 2X4 inch form factor (50.8 X 101.6 mm) and is just 1.29 inches high (32.7 mm). The CPS250-M series offers 93 percent typical efficiency and less than 500 mW of no load power dissipation. The units offer ITE and medical (2x MOPP) safety approvals including type BF medical applications. A universal 90 to 264 Vac input and global safety approvals enable the CPS250-M series to be used almost anywhere in the world. The new power supplies offer single output voltages of 12, 24 or 48 Vdc with a 10 percent trim range and additional 12 V fan output and optional 5 V standby output.
