Coming Soon - LU225 Product Family | Featuring UL8750 Safety Approval

SL Power Electronics is pleased to announce the newest addition to their portfolio of Coming Soon products, the LU225. This product family boasts an ultra-high-density open-frame design that enables original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to reduce product size and deliver superior performance while offering noise reduction and a higher degree of reliability.

This high-performance power supply family was designed for LED Lighting fixtures including architectural installations and other Industrial applications. The LU225 product family is the first open frame power supply in the market to carry the UL8750 safety approval and is also compliant with EN60950 standards for global applications. The high degree of compliance with global Lighting and ITE standards enables shorter development cycles and quicker market adoption for OEM’s.

The LU225 offers versatile system integration with available mounting options (top and under-mount) and a variety of cooling configurations – convection (150Watts), conduction (180 Watts) and fan cooled (225 Watts). The LU225 also employs an active inrush current limiter to less than 15A for a wide AC input range of 90 to 305Vac. This superior active inrush current limit capability minimizes the need for multiple circuit protection devices, resulting in lower installation and operating costs.
