Contract Announcement – TEGAM Model 1830A

Three branches of the United States Military have purchased the new TEGAM Model 1830A in the first month of its release and awarded it a national stock number (NSN) 6625015667703. The largest contract, from the U.S. Army, is for a period of one year and 168 units, totaling more than one-million dollars. Additionally, orders have been received from the U.S. Navy and The National Guard. “We expected this product to be very popular, as it fills a unique void in the market,” states Adam Fleder, President of TEGAM Inc. “The initial response to the product has been extremely positive.” The 1830A is a new RF Thermistor Power Meter intended for applications where the lowest uncertainty measurement is important. These include metrology, research, and production testing of RF equipment. The TEGAM 1830A is available now and priced at $6,495.
