SL Power Publishes TF Series Application Note Trilogy

Posted October 24, 2019

SL Power Electronics has published three all new Application Notes dedicated to the popular TF Series which consists of three high power product families: TF800, TF1500 & TF3000.

The first two Application Notes provide an in-depth analysis of the TF800 & TF1500. These two documents outline proper use in terms of operating temperature, safety, grounding, mechanical mounting, communication setup, along with other general information and precautions.

In addition, the TF800 and TF1500 Application Notes provide a great deal of performance data, delivering valuable insight into Efficiency, AC Inrush Current, Turn-On Delay Time, Output Turn-On Rise Time, Output Hold-Up Time, Overload Protection, Short-Circuit Protection, Transient Response, and more.

The last section, Signal Wave Forms, provides snapshots of Local Current Program (ACI), Constant Current Mode, Constant Resistance Mode, Local Mode Voltage Programming, Inhibit (EN+ & EN-), Auxiliary Power and Setting, Parallel Current Share (PAR), Common Mode Noise, and Conducted Emission.

The third and final document is the TF Series Graphical User Interface (GUI) Manual, which introduces the reader to the system and goes over required hardware, SW installation and the connection setup.
